Tour description:
Are you more of a mountain person or a sea person? Which one appeals more to you: a bone-breaking hike up the winding mountain path in complete solitude, where your only friends are the occasional chirping of birds and whispers of leaves - or a vast landscape of limestone karst and crystal turquoise waters, where the locals welcome you in a warm embrace, as warm and as bright as the golden sun that shines for days on end. Can't make up your mind?
With this Exotissimo tour, you will get the best of both worlds and even more!
Meet the Sapa region: Filled with ethnic minorities with their unique tradition and antics, Sapa is located in the northwest of Vietnam. Spend three days trekking through the region while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Perks include waterfalls, rice paddies, high mountain passes, and interaction with local villagers.
Journey to the South: Now it's time to get to the lowlands and travel east to the flatlands of the Red River Delta. The top of Yen Tu Mount with sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding countryside is just a cable car ride away. Up next, you may trek down the Giai Oan pagoda.
The grand finale: Halong Bay! And now, end your hard week with an overnight cruise on the magnificent Halong Bay. Sit back, relax, and take in the scenery as your traditional wooden junk boat winds its way through hundreds of limestone karsts. Feast on seafood, visit mystical caves, and swim in the turquoise waters of the Bay. Kayaking is optional for those who still have the stomach for adventure!
