8 months Belly

From Borneo Tip, 1 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

This is the belly of my wife who is already pregnant for 8 months. Its really amazing how it grew from the beginning until today. We had gone through a lot for the past couple of months and I started to understand what my mother had to go through when I was still in her tummy.I hope all will turn out well on the delivery day as the last scan indicate that the umbilical cord has wrapped around the neck of our son twice. That definitely created some anxious moment but after reading a few articles... Read more

Ain Arabia

From Borneo Tip, 2 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Ain Arabia was created as a sanctuary for the Middle Eastern tourists in the heart of KL. The arch in way of Jalan Berangan leads to the park.   This small plot of green area is dotted with concrete benches and a few Middle East themed structures. A lot of those structures seem to be vandalized and the place is in pretty bad shape. The most prominent structure here is the teapot which once serve as a water fountain which no longer in operational Read more

Bersih 3.0 @ Sibu

From Borneo Tip, 3 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Bersih 3.0 campaign kicked off today and I happened to be at my hometown. I decided to get a closer look at their campaign which was held at Sibu Town Square. The crowd congregated at Chuang Corridor at the edge of the town square. The size ain't huge but they earned my respect for being able to bear the scorching sun in order to uphold their belief. They encouraged the motorists which passed through Island Road to honk as a sign of support.  They request for a clean election and... Weissbrau German Bistro & Bar

From Borneo Tip, 3 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Weissbrau is one of the place in KL that served Schneider Weisse wheat beer which has been quite popular of late in most of the German bars here. This is definitely a cool place to chill out and have a glass of beer after a long walk shopping in Bukit Bintang or Pavilion KL. There are a few choices of draught beers to choose from and decent choices of bottled beer. Since I am around, I am determined to try all the 3 Schneider Weisse beers the outlet has to offer. All the Schneider Weisse... Read more

From Borneo Tip, 3 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Abdullah Mastan Ghany is the best place to try Muslim mee rebus and rojak while in Teluk Intan. The stall is located at Jalan Ah Cheong, directly opposite The Store Teluk Intan. The scent from the simmering pot of sauce accounts for the allure of the mee rojak. The stall itself is quite small with limited seats.Mee campur rojak is those who want a bit of everything. Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun

From Borneo Tip, 4 weeks ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun varies from the typical Malaysian Chee Cheong Fun as it was eaten without sauce. It consists of rice noodle, turnip, minced meat and dried shrimp. It is eaten with the pickled chilies which kind of enhanced the taste. There are a few places that sold Chee Cheong Fun in this town, mainly along Jalan Ah Cheong and its branches. I had mine at the Glutton Square and it costs RM 3.20 a plate. I am not a big fan of Chee Cheong Fun but Teluk Intan's own version goes really... Read more

I have tried many satay in my life but my recent visit to Teluk Intan, I discovered what I reckon is the best satay I had come across so far.Satay Abu Yamin can be found at Restoran Yusoffia which is located in Jalan Putra. It is at the intersection of Jalan Ah Cheong and Jalan Putra. The stall only open in the evening, around 6pm onward. A piece of the satay cost only RM 0.50, which is quite cheap. They only sell beef and chicken satay.I am still craving for their satay until this very day. The... Read more
